I'm back after a little break from the blog. For various reasons, the last two weeks have been pretty busy and the blog was put on the back burner.
After the last snow storm, we had to wait quite a while for it to warm up to "Mama's Standards" for the kids to be outdoors. We had been recovering from colds and I was going out of my way to make sure we didn't get sick again. So finally it warmed up to a balmy upper 20s/lower 30s and we headed out for a few minutes! Caleb had been very anxious to build a snowman and so we set to work right away.

This is the best attempt we had at getting both kids in the picture. Sarah was in no mood for snow (she takes after her father in that way)! |

Farmer Frosty and Caleb...its like they've known each other they're whole life! (I especially like Caleb's snowglasses.) |
|
Frosty Farmer traded in his pitch fork for a little fun with the sled. All work and no play makes Frosty very boring to a three year old. |

After constructing Farmer Frosty, we took a little Jeep ride with Josh. We checked out the bull, peeked at the tractor Josh is somewhat overhauling (kinda sorta), checked the mail for the neighbor lady and visited Grandma and Papa for coffeetime and some of her fresh banana bread. The kids had a great time getting some fresh air!
