The kids can play hide-n-seek all day and they've finally learned to play it well enough on their own that Josh and I don't have to play every time they want to play anymore. Now, they've rediscovered tag (or as Caleb calls it "TaggedYou'reIt"). While they know the gist of the game, it takes some adult watching-over to make it go smoothly. So I put them off all afternoon until Josh could join us. Then we found ourselves playing tag right before bed Tuesday night when both Mommy AND Daddy were able to play. (And believe it or not, they have no trouble winding down for bed when we get all crazy like this right before sleepy time. We have such a structured bed routine that they can go from running around like nuts, to Bible time, brushing teeth and bedtime without so much as a complaint. They're asleep 15 minutes from the end of the game.)

Look at Sarah go! I wish you could hear the giggles that were coming from the kids...the pictures just don't do it justice! |
And there they go! |
Sarah's "it". Josh is finally giving in and letting her tag him. |
I think Josh is "it" in this picture. The kids thought they were hot stuff when Josh "couldn't" catch them! |
Josh is explaining to Sarah that she has to run after Caleb, who you can see has no desire to be caught. |
Photo taken on the go. No time to stop for a shot. |
And Josh rounding the corner, chasing after the kiddos who are (if I remember correctly) hiding behind the photographer. And (if I remember correctly), the photographer was tagged as punishment for taking the picture, thus ending the photo shoot. |
I totally remember the adrenaline rush of being chased in close quarters! I love that first pic and its caption. :)
