Finding things to do.

Its been a while since I've posted on here, mainly because nothing TOO exciting has been happening that I haven't already shown.  Harvest is moving along nicely and the kids and I are already starting to have to reach into the depths of our creativeness to find things to do on the days we can't spend as much time outdoors as we would like.

What terrific helpers I have!  They INSISTED on helping me wash windows this morning!

And then Alec went and got all smart on me  and figured out he didn't REALLY have to help.  He walked off the job!  And took the other two with him.

While the two little ones were asleep, Caleb and I made paint bags:  a mixture of stuff in a ziplock bag that can be used for fingerpainting, just a lot less messy!

Just the boys enjoying some Sarah-free time.

Alec's favorite color was blue and there was NO getting it away from him.

Not quite sure what Caleb was drawing, but you get the idea of how the bag works.

The painting lasted about five minutes.  I thought the kids would play  longer, but they had fun while it lasted.
