First and Last

Okay, so there's not really anything that's especially cute.  But if you look REAL close, you'll notice he grew half a brick's worth! 

You'll also notice that he's got the same shirt on.  I did this just for the pictures.  Different shorts though.  When I went through Caleb's drawers recently to sort out what he needed for summer, I found that he still fit in 24 (some 18) month shorts... which is what he was wearing in the first day picture.  They were just a tad short, but they fit his waist!  Now, I realize that baby shorts are typically made wide around the top to accommodate diapers and many are long for style's sake, so really its not surprising that they fit a very thin child.... but I refused to put them on Caleb for another season.  So, the old shorts went into the box in the closet and we broke out the next box of hand-me-downs!  We skipped several sizes, so most of his shorts are pretty loose around his waist.  But at least they don't look like the old 70's and 80's basketball shorts... abd you know you know exactly what I'm talking about!
