Glad!

This spring, I planted several flowery type things I'd never planted before, among them being about three dozen gladiolus.  The glads had a very rough start with the several inches of rain we had right after being planted and now they are having a very rough time with the extreme heat and the drought-like conditions.  The poor plants are so confused!  But they have managed to prevail and I've got several beautiful glads blooming along the whole front of my porch.  With promise of  more to bloom soon!  And they make a mighty pretty vase for the table!
