Happy New Year!

This is how Josh and I rang in the New Year:

Pretzels, M&Ms and sparkling juice while watching The Chase.
We made it to 10:00.
We're crazy party animals like that.

That's one happy bottle of bubbly juice!

The year 2013 came and went without much ado.  We made a few improvements on the farm, which is always nice.  We made it through yet another summer drought and are part way through what is becoming a really rough winter (on both our men and beasts!).  We are already praying for a "normal" 2014.  We lost both of Josh's grandparents Van Zante, which still seems unreal at times.  No babies were born, we didn't face any major catastrophes and no major life events occurred.  We ended the year all snuggled in our beds, warm, safe and healthy.  Through the easy and likewise through the tough, we are blessed really beyond our comprehension.  I thank God for his protection and providence.
