Spaghetti Supper

Usually when we have pasta for supper, I opt for some short cut pasta that is toddler friendly (or more accurately, mama-clean-up-friendly).  Each time, Caleb asks for "long spaghetti" and I occasionally give in... if its bath night.  Here is our adventure in spaghetti (literally):

One determined little girl to get a certain noodle in her tummy!

And the whole reason for long spaghetti?  To suck up the long noodles, of course!

Sarah worked pretty hard to learn to twirl her noodles just right.

But a hungry girl can work only so long before she gives in to temptation to use the easier method.

Caleb's one good twirler.

Not too bad actually hitting the target, either!

See the determined look?  The meal took twice as long as it usually takes us to eat, but Josh and I had some good laughs and a lot of fun watching the kids eat their "long spaghetti".  (And I'm quite thankful for Shout Stain Remover for getting the sauce off  Sarah's new Christmas sweater that she insisted on wearing throughout the whole meal!)
