Easy Days...

Remember when you were young, life was easy and there were no worries?  Almost everything was fun.  Here's the kiddos doing just that: being young, easing through life and care-free.




Awww... there's my sweeties!  Going for a ride.  Caleb lookin' cool (or at least trying to!), practicing to impress the chicks when he's older (like 30?).  And Sweet Sarah Rose, cell phone in hand.  Such a sweet picture, with so many options!  Shall its future use be to remind the children of childhood memories?  Or maybe to remind the kids of a day when their rides were free of gas bills?  Perhaps its future use will be to remind the teenage Sarah that she HAS a cell phone...so what if it doesn't have a battery, been through the wash and is older than she is, she shoulda kept better track of it?   Or maybe to prove to the kids that they once actually DID get along and actually ENJOYED playing with each other.  Or maybe its just a keeper to show Sarah what her outfits used to look like when she starts complaining of the clothing her mother wears when I'm old (past post reference...).  Hmmm...I think I'll just keep it around to see what becomes of it!




And Caleb playing hide-n-seek.  He was hiding under the highchair and Alec was loving every minute of it.  I didn't have the heart to tell him that his game buddy, our friend Sarah Kathryn, had stopped looking for him after a very, VERY short try and had turned her focus to other things.  He'll have to learn that lesson like every other teenage guy starting to date...
