You may remember that last Fall, the guys had a tool chest built to fit onto the back of our five wheeler, making it basically a mobile shop so the men could take it to where a repair needed to be done. I was given the pleasure of painting it...it was like one big, giant craft project, so this was right up my alley! Of course, you can't paint when the paint will freeze on you, so I had to wait until this summer to get the job done. Its been done quite a while, but I'm just now getting around to taking pictures and blogging it. There's still one more small part to do to finish out the job, but that will come soon enough. Until then, enjoy the almost finished result:

This is the "before". |

The primer was water based, so the kids were able to "help" with the first coat. |
And of course, as always, what Big Brother Caleb does so does Little Sister Sarah Rose. |
These pictures were taken the first part of June, when we had more than plenty of rain and thus plenty of mud puddles. When the kids weren't "helping", they spent their time playing in the mud puddles. |
And they got good and dirty! |
Sarah Rose really looks up to her big brother! They're best friends! |
Her shirt is a hand-me-down from Caleb that says "DIRT makes me cuter!" She loves her tractor shirt! |
This is the "after". |

The big rectangle on the back is the little part that is left to do. We have a slogan picked out that I will paint on the back, in black, when the weather modifies a little bit and the summer work slows down. |
The kids love riding on the five wheeler. We (the kids and I) used to go for drives all the time before the fellas but the tool chest on the back. Now its a little awkward for us to be lugging it all around the yard. |

Believe it or not, I actually had to talk Josh into the John Deere colors when we were discussing color schemes. I think it turned out looking pretty sharp! |
