Happy Anniversary to Us!

July 23 marked our sixth anniversary.  Its amazing to think back and take a look at how things have changed in these mere 2,190 days of wedded bliss!  I think Josh would agree with me that the two biggest blessings in our lives that have changed things the most for us are our wonderful kids. (Well, he very well could answer his Jeep, but I know if he looked deep enough he would realize its his precious children!  ;-)  )  So, being the great kids that they are, we gladly let them join in in celebrating the past six years by taking in a movie!



Caleb is a huge CARS fan.  We chose to go to the CARS 2 movie and during the whole show, he just sat in his chair and didn't make a peep!  He was totally absorbed into the big screen.  Sarah  Rose, on the other hand, wiggled on my lap until the point that my arms felt like Jell-o.  But she did enjoy the smuggled in snacks and pointing out the characters from the original movie to me.  (Thankfully, the whole movie theater was filled with families whose young children were also quite excited and chatty, so Sarah Rose wasn't the only one sharing her excitement!)  You can see Caleb is still totally focused on the movie even while the credits were running (when I took this picture). 





We made a special memory, taking the kids to their first movie while celebrating our anniversary.  It's something we'll be able to look back on later in life, when we're old and rocking in our rocking chairs on the porch, and smile about  :-)
